d’alembert roulette system

roulette system review

System Name : D’alembert

Method : A progressive system. You bet on the “even money” spaces on the table. That is RED, BLACK, ODD, EVEN, 1-18 or 19-36. You commence by betting 1 unit, and when you lose you add one unit to the bet. After every win, you subtract 1 unit from the bet. The series ends when you win on your last bet of 1 unit, as subtracting 1 unit will leave you with a zero bet. You then commence your next series with a 1 unit bet.

PROS :

A very simple system to grasp and follow

The system is generally safer than the Martingale, because instead of doubling-up after a loss, you add a much more manageable one unit to the bet. Therefore the bets tend to stay at reasonable levels as opposed to Martingale and other higher factor progressive systems.

CONS :

A long losing streak pushes the stakes up fairly high, sometimes they may even reach/exceed the house limit.

As with any progressive system it is absolutely essential to set a limit on the amount you are willing to bet, and the number of losing spins you can sustain. It is also important to set a winnings target and STICK TO THEM !! Treat losses as a cost of entertainment, and manage your betting wisely and within limits you are comfortable with.

EXAMPLE :

Bet 10 Units on RED (e.g a unit could be $1 or $2, $5
etc)
